Here at HM Land Registry, we have two exciting Infrastructure Engineer opportunities available.You will join us on a flexible working, full-time, job share or part time, permanent basis and, in return,you will receive acompetitive salary of £27,130 per annum (Croydon £30,604 per annum). HMLRs ambition is to become the worlds leading land registry for speed, simplicity and an open approach to data.To help us to achieve this, we now have two opportunities for you to join us as an Infrastructure Engineer, one to join our IT Security Team and another to join our Identity Management Team, within our Digital, Data and Technology Directorate.HM Land Registrys existing software systems and services form part of the critical national infrastructure, safeguarding land and property ownership valued at £7 trillion. This enables over £1 trillion worth of personal and commercial lending to be securedagainst property across England and Wales.Key responsibilities for the Infrastructure Engineer:As an Infrastructure Engineer within the IT Security Team, you will focus on delivering a range of activities to support the implementation and compliance with HM Land Registrys security policies as well as the maintenance of informationsecurity controls across the organisation. You will perform routine administration tasks, product upgrades and installs. You will also support internal and external users with incident resolution and resolve infrastructural issues.As an Infrastructure Engineer within the Identity Management Team, you will be responsible for the management of existing and delivery of new security controls across HM Land Registrys varied IT infrastructure. You will provide second andthird line support for access control issues, implement new security systems and apply changes to security infrastructure. You will also manage user accounts and access control functions and provide security incident response and investigation.What were looking for in our Infrastructure Engineers:To meet the requirements of these roles, you will hold a qualification in Information Technology or a related area, at degree level or equivalent, or have relevant experience in an IT field. You will also have specific in-depth knowledge, proven expertiseand practical experience relevant to the role(s) you are interested in applying for, as detailed below:Infrastructure Engineer - IT Security Team: Experience in the use of Windows Server 2012 or newer version Experience in either Active Directory, Group Policy or NTFS SecurityInfrastructure Engineer - Identity Management Team: Experience in the use of Windows Server 2012 or newer version Experience in either Active Directory, Group Policy, NTFS Security or Scripting technologiesFor either role, it is also essential that you are experienced in high-level planning, managing technical change and technical information gathering, analysis and problem solving.
