You will run training courses to the highest standards and take pride in your training.Most of the training will be run out of our head office near Coventry, but there will be a requirement to travel to our sites in Manchester and South Wales too ADHOC. Most of your training courses will be delivered in a face to face environment, ensuring youand your delegates are wearing the correct PPE.Working alone in most training sessions, you will be responsible for setting up the room/location (including live construction and or utility sites) for each training session, preparing any PPE that is needed for that session and completing all paperwork topass onto the admininstration team at the end of each training session.Courses you will be training people on include: Asbestos Awareness, Working at Height, Harness and Personal Fall arrest, Manual Handling, Gas Monitors, COSHH Awareness and Practical, Fire Marshall / Fire Warden, Abrasive Wheels, Category 1 and HSG47, Category2 Safe Digging Techniques.To hold the above you must hold your NEBOSH qualification.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Health and Safety Trainer- NEBOSH, Training and Assessment, Construction and Utilities· To deliver accredited and endorsed training courses · To wear the correct PPE and ensure that delegates are also wearing the appropriate PPE for the practical element of courses · Provide positive and proactive feedback to delegates and clients in a professional manner · To complete all paperwork in a timely manner and pass onto the administration team for them to process the results and request certificates, cards etc · To update and write course material to comply with HSE and National Occupational Standards as needed with support of a wider team.PERSON SPECIFICATION: Health and Safety Trainer- NEBOSH, Training and Assessment, Construction and Utilities· You must have practical experience working in Health and Safety or Health and Safety Training OR· You will have experience as a Site Manager on Construction and/or Utility SitesEither of the above means you will eligible to hold your NEBOSH Construction Certificate or Diploma· You will have a minimum Level 3 Teaching Qualification · Ideally, your experience will include face to face and remote trainingTHE COMPANY:We are a training and assessment centre working within the construction and utilities industries. We are approved to deliver a wide range of courses such as 18th edition, streetworks, confined spaces, electrofusion and Butt fusion welding, SCO, manual handling,first aid and other related qualifications. We are accredited by EUSR, City and Guilds, CITB, NUCO, CABWI and other accreditations are in the pipeline. All of our existing instructors are highly qualified and experienced which will only aid your develop as a H&S Trainer.It is highly likely you will have worked in any of the following roles and/or markets, and worked with the following products and/or services: Health & Safety, Trainer, Training, NEBOSH.
