Job Description

An exciting opportunity for a Head of Facilities to join a leading global logistics company overseeing 5 sites across the UK.Client DetailsAn exciting opportunity for a Head of Facilities to join a leading Global logistics company overseeing FM for 5 of their UK based sites. Their supply chain networks and distribution centres service some of the high-streets most reputable brands.Excellent salary / package on offerDescriptionReporting into the Operations Director you will be responsible for overseeing Facilities Management for a growing portfolio of properties across the UK. You will have direct responsibility for 5 site based Facilities Managers and a Health & Safety managerwho work closely together to ensure sites are well maintained and compliant whilst reducing operating costs and ensuring maximum operational efficiency.

  • Provide an exceptional Facilities Management service across the UK
  • Develop strategies to reduce energy consumption and meet our Net Zero objectives
  • Project manage CAPEX projects across the portfolio
  • Deliver engineering solutions on all new network Distribution Centres on time and within budget incorporating the latest technology, fit for purpose designs and sustainable solutions
  • Establish and maintain relationships with 3rd party contractors / suppliers
Profile
  • Substantial experience in Facilities Managment within a national logistics setting is essential
  • Excellent knowledge of total FM (maintenance, engineering, waste management, cleaning, sustainability, fleet)
  • Working with 3rd party suppliers / contractors, assessing SLAs / KPIs
  • Project management of CAPEX projects
  • Strong experience of managing and developing teams and managing through others
  • Proven ability in stakeholder management at all levels with the ability to build constructive working relationships
  • Understanding of operational requirements to determine appropriate fit for purpose engineering solutions
  • Strong Health & Safety knowledge (IOSH / NEBOSH desirable)
  • Ability to set and deliver positive results against challenging performance targets and budgets
  • Experience using CAFM systems
  • Proven experience of management and negotiation skills when dealing with contractual obligations and financial aspects with third parties/vendors/suppliers
Job Offer
  • £80,000 - 85,000
