Job Description

FLT Driver - Counterbalance & Reach**Please note you will be recruited directly by Adecco with this position**Join the world of PepsiCo Supply Chain, our factory in Coventry is one our biggest snacks manufacturing site in the UK, producing a number of well-known brands including Doritos, SunBites, Squares, French Fries, Wotsits and Monster Munch. It is a multi-technologyplant with significant automation and is home to around 650 of our team. Our Coventry site is a fast paced and ever-changing environment, we can go from idea to implementation in a matter of days. You will be inspired by the drive of your team and feel a truesense of connection and comradery with your colleagues who are proud to work at CoventryReports to: Adecco CoordinatorWorking Hours: 12 hour shiftsMain Accountability: To ensure that products are manufactured and packaged to the standards laid out by Pepsico (Walkers Crisps).Roles & Responsibilities:

    • Use of FLTs to stack and move product around the factory
    • Hand packing products in primary packing from tables
    • Manually stacking pallets (equipment provided)
    • Wrapping pallets - use of manual stretch wrapper
    • Moving waste bins & use of waste bin management system
    • General wall / floor cleaning and tidying of all manufacturing areas.
    • Basic equipment cleaning supporting both product and flavour changes
    • Collection of product samples for testing, completing simple testing
The above lists are not exhaustive and you will be required to complete other GSO duties from time to time.What we are looking for:
    • Preferably the ideal applicant will hold external licenses for both Counterbalance and Reach Trucks
    • Ability to work as part of a team and willingness to learn in an autonomous role
    • Basic numerical, reading and computer skills
    • Proactive and can take initiative to escalate issues
    • Accuracy, timeliness and attention to detail
    • Excellent adherence to all site standards
