Our beliefin people and what they can achieve.Your role at Orbit.The Finance Systems Manager will play a key role in the continued development of processes and controls post Dynamics 365 implementation that ensures an effective accounting and reporting service across Orbit Group.You will support the finance team in achieving the key finance deliverables within agreed deadlines including, management and statutory accounts, audit deliverables, board and management reporting as required. Lead in the management of period end, quarterend and year end processes from the finance systems perspective to support the finance team in meeting its deliverables within agreed timelines.The Finance Systems Manager will manage and control any amendments to the finance master data such as opening or closing new main accounts, new customer accounts or project codes, new bank groups ensuring correct approvals are adhered to and that the impactof any changes are captured in existing Financial reports, Excel PowerQuery and/or PowerBI reports.You will ensure financial reporting information reconciles to the underlying data and develop and manage reporting via Excel PowerQuery, Report Designer / Management Reporter and PowerBI for the finance teams that make full use of the system capabilities,ensuring that reports are complete and accurate at all times.As an expert in this field you will work with the broader team to develop and implement automated D365 F&O policies as well as review procedures and processes to support best practice use of the system.What will help you make a difference.You will possess relevant experience in an accounting or finance role having had experience of producing management accounts and other key financial reports. We are looking for someone that can maximise the efficiency of Microsoft Dynamics 365 so previoussystems management experience would be a distinct advantage.
