Job Description

Finance and Data Specialist - 39395 - £43.40/hr Umbrella (inside IR35)Do you have Finance Business Partner experience, and are you seeking a new contract in Coventry Jonathan Lee Recruitment is helping a collaborative company recruit a Finance and Data Specialist, and the role comes with an attractive contract rate of £43.40/hr(Inside IR35).As a Finance and Data Specialist, you will work with the Finance Transformation team to support a payments and invoicing transformation project. You will also provide financial support and business partnering to the Agency Team and wider UK NSC SMEs.In your first few weeks in this Finance & Data Specialist role, you can expect to:

  • Deliver Business Cases to operational and senior stakeholders to drive key business decision-making
  • Operate independently and provide a high level of support to the Finance Manager
  • Undertake cross-functional work with the wider finance community to deliver finance strategies and initiatives
  • Support internal control requirements & audit, documentation of processes and best practice
Applicants will require experience with project management tools such as Jira, alongside strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.You will also need the following:
  • Finance Business Partner experience, ideally gained within a large, complex organisation
  • Business Transformation and Project Management skills
  • Admin management experience
  • Exceptional numerical and analytical skills supported by communication and presentation skills
  • ACA, CIMA or ACCA qualified, degree qualified or equivalent experience
