Job Description

Title: Finance AnalystSalary: £35,000 - £40,000Location: CoventryType: PermanentThe OpportunityThis is a brand new role to join a great business as a Financial Analyst is to provide support for the Regional Director, whilst helping Finance fulfil its function as a key service provider to all Company sites. The primary objective is to be interfacebetween the operations in the UK, the Business Support Centre, and Corporation. Understanding and anticipating the needs of both UK management and UK operations.Duties

  • Prepare accurate and timely analyses that capture and communicate business results, variances, and performance trends and make recommendations to drive improvement.
  • Partners with Sales/Service Administration and Management to ensure order entry accuracy, track/forecast revenue objectives and billable milestone attainment.
  • Prepare accurate and timely revenue posting and reporting for local & US GAAP reporting.
  • Partner with Senior Buyer and Purchasing and Logistics Coordinator to drive better visibility into inventory to improve accuracy, reduce risks related to Excess & Obsolete, inventory expiry and inventory counts.
  • Contributor to month and year end close.
  • Preparation, Completion and submission of National Statistics Reports and other local
  • Liaising with internal and external auditors for SOX and USGAAP audits.
  • Supporting preparation of Local Financial statements.
  • Support Regional Director on Ad-hoc projects as necessary.
Qualifications
  • A recognised accounting qualification to at least AAT Technician.
  • No visa or other restriction preventing travel in the USA or EU.
Skills and Experience
  • Advanced working knowledge of SAP.
  • Knowledge of Sarbanes Oxley and UK GAAP.
Commercial Analyst, Accountant, Management Accountant, FP&A Analyst, Assistant Accountant and other titles
