The opportunityProject: Mace Operate oversees a wide range of premises on behalf of clients, from commercial offices and government buildings to cultural landmarks. Acting as either a managing agent or principal contractor, we build a service delivery model around the specific needs of our clients, taking complete responsibility of cost and service quality.The role will be managing and giving direction to the facilities coordinator and facilities assistant.Working alongside the Mace Operate admin team to ensure that office is a suitable environment from H&S.Your responsibilities will include:Managing the contractors on site, M&E, cleaning, catering and handyman.Ensuring that the statutory and legislative checks and repairs are carried out to ensure the welfare offices are compliant.Carrying out monthly meetings with minutes for progress and improvements.Supporting the cleaning team to maintain a high standard of housekeeping, dealing with issues and shortages of supplies and equipment.Providing improvement ideas and looking for trends and areas for improvementChecking and reporting any faulty equipment on fm24.Checking jobs are put on fm24 and contractors repair, close down the jobs.Informing the logistics manager of any faulty equipment, providing replacement costs for approval.Providing desk utilisation information and work with logistics director for desk availability against sub-contractor programmes.Managing projects for office moves, refurbishments and office improvements.Ensuring signage is relevant and up to date.Ensuring the reception dashboard is working and has correct information.Ensuring all desks are labelled and desk allocation is up to date.Ensuring that cupboard allocation spreadsheet is up to date and provide empty.Maintaining the site accommodation, leak proofing, winter-proofing and etc.About youYou are digitally savvy, can build lasting client relationships and lead strong, motivated teams.
