Job Description

ACR Recruitment and Training Ltdare looking for an Experienced CNC Turner machine Programmer/setter/Operator to join our client based in Coventry. To apply for this role the successful candidate will already have proven experience as aCNC Turning MachinistDuties to include.Programmer/Setter/Operator leading the turning section.

  • Programming, setting, and operating machines
  • Interpretation of drawings and 3D digital files
  • Produce prototypes / small production runs
  • Carry out inspection of your work (CMM and Manual)
  • Maintain clean and tidy stations
  • Produce work of a high standard by adhering to quality standards to ensure that product is produced to agreed specifications.
  • Lead a team of 4/5 people within the Turning Section
  • Maintain a good working relationship with colleagues to promote successful teamwork. Experience Required
  • Leadership/Supervisory experience
  • Relevant Engineering Qualification • Ideally Apprentice Trained
  • Time served / equivalent experience in a precision machining company
  • Competent in Fanuc controls and programming
  • Strong understanding of Fanuc programs with ability to edit, re-run tools etc.
  • Able to move offsets
  • Able to prove unproven programs, safely
  • Competent in inspecting own work using CMMs and gauges to verify product quality
  • Conversant with Lynx and Doosan machinery (Preferable)
  • CAM experience (Preferable) • Multi-axis and sub-spindle
  • Working to tight tolerances
  • Experience of working with a wide range of materials including , Inconel, titanium, mild steels, brass, aluminium-bronze, bronzes, aluminium, plastics, super duplex etc.
  • Ability to work under pressure with attention to detail

Working hours are Monday to Thursday - 7:30am to 4:30pm ; Friday - 7:30am to 12:30pm£38K - £40K per annum depending on experience
