Job Description

My client based in Canley, Coventry are looking to recruit a PA to CEO and events coordinator on a full time permanent basis. This is a very busy role which requires organisational skills and attention to detail.Reporting to: Chief Executive OfficerBase: Coventry Office.Salary Circa: £30,000.Hours: Monday to Friday from 8:30am till 5:00pmMain Duties/Responsibilities:Personal Assistant to CEO

  • Being responsible for CEO’s diary management (Outlook)
  • Ensuring CEO has all information, itineraries and papers for external meetings and upcoming appointments
  • Making necessary travel arrangements including flights, train tickets, hotels, car parking etc…
  • Organising and upkeeping all upcoming presentations for CEO
  • Preparation of papers for Board meetings and taking minutes of meetings
  • Liaising with Board members regarding any hotel accommodation, travel etc…when required
  • Circulation of papers for CLC Supply Chain Group and taking Minutes of meetings (via Zoom)
  • Liaising with Members regarding Construct Zero and submitting applications for Business Champions to Department for Business and Trade
  • Any other ad hoc duties as required by the CEO
Events Manager
  • Management and organise national and international events, to include Burns Supper, Master Merchant, Members Annual Conference & Awards, Top 100 Gala Dinner and Bi-annual International Conference
  • Manage Events Assistant (Direct report)
  • Coordinate any other events as required by the CEO
  • Coordinate promotion of national and international events by working with Events Assistant
  • Overseeing and managing national and international events budgets (e.g., Profit & Loss)
  • Responsibility for management of sponsorship opportunities for all national and international events
  • Being responsible for running virtual/hybrid forums via Teams/Zoom platform
  • Any other duties as and when required.
Property Management
  • Being the main point of contact for all tenants regarding any concerns or enquiries about their lease
  • Advertising and securing new tenants for all empty properties
  • Renewing any existing leases that have reached the end of their contact
  • Being responsible for property maintenance (e.g., any repairs on the building, garden and landscaping etc…)
Other Information
  • Your primary place of work will be at the Coventry Head Office
  • Occasional attendance at other venues, with possible overnight stays, may also be required.
