Seven Resourcing is working with Coventry City Council to recruit a Network Co-ordinator within their Engineering and Surveying service.Monday - Friday 9 - 5 hours.£14.63 per hour.Initial 3 month contract covering sick leave.Job Purpose:To be responsible for highway network planning, co-ordination and compliance of statutory undertakers and other work promoters activities, in order to minimise congestion and disruption to road users. To ensure that the Council meets its statutory obligationsunder the Traffic Management Act 2004 and New Roads and Street Works Act 1991.Duties:Candidate Profile Monitor and examine all Traffic Management Act (TMA) Public utility and Highway Authority notices sent to the Street Works Team electronically via the Exor system (Street Works register) to coordinate streetworks throughout the City.This involves a detailed examination of all the notices received to establish if the notices are TMA compliant in relation to the type of notice submitted either notices for minor works, standard works or major works.Establish if there are any conflicts with other works being carried out on the road, or if the road is subject to any particular restrictions such as a traffic sensitive road.Identify any conflicts or restrictions are found, and forward an electronic instruction to the Utility or CCC department directing them accordingly.Applicant Requirements:
