Electrical/Electronic Technician (Building Test Rigs)PermanentLocation - Midlands commutable from Birmingham, Warwick, Coventry, Stratford upon Avon £27,116 - £30,497 pa DOE + Training, development, Pension, 38 days holiday 36.5 hours (Mon-Fri) Immediately available Days based (Mon - Fri)Are you an experienced Multi-Skilled Engineer/Technician Do you have experience with HV systems, building test rigs or have good electrical or electronic skills This is a post within a rapidly expanding and world renowned Research and Development department. Due to continued growth my client is looking for a candidate with skills in electronic or electrical disciplines to work on battery related research and developmentprojects, where you will aide building and maintaining test rigs and can even help with the tests.The successful candidate will have good mechanical, electronic or electrical skills (wiring/Fault finding) in order to help build test rigs, diagnose faults and fix them, effectively helping academics and industrial partners with their research projects.Anyone with HV/Authorised Person training will have a distinct advantage. The role would potentially suit someone from a maintenance background or someone that has worked building test rigs or within vehicle testing.You will be working in state of the art facilities to help build test rigs for batteries for tests that include vibration testing or heat testing.
