My client, a market leading UK based Civil and Structural Engineering Consultancy, is searching for a Drainage Engineer to join and their Design Team based in Coventry.It is essential that applicants have a strong MSc and/or BSc in Civil Engineering and have experience working within UK based Consultancy or Local Authority completing detailed Drainage Strategies and Drainage Design using Microdrainage preferably for ResidentialDevelopments. Applicants are required to have a keen interest in Flood Risk Engineering and have a detailed knowledge of Flood Risk Assessments and Flood Risk Policy.It is also beneficial for applicants to reside locally and have experience completing Residential or Commercial Projects for Private Sector Clients.Typically the role will involve varied Drainage and Flood Risk Projects for Residential and Commercial Developments for Housing Developers and Private Sector Clients.You will join a supportive team in Coventry and be expected to complete Flood Risk Assessments for Planning Applications, Soakaway Design, Surface Water Drainage Strategy and SuDS and Sewerage Design in respect of S104 and S106 using Microdrainage and AutoCAD.Candidates will also be required to complete detailed Design using Civils 3D.This role offers a competitive salary, company benefits, specialist training and career progression.
