Job Description

Robert Walters is working in partnership with the UKs largest energy distributor. They employee 6,000 employees and are market leaders for supplying services to in excess of 11 million customers with 6,000 employees.They are at initial stages of a large scale 5-year digital transformation program across Technology, Architecture and Cyber Security.Due to greenfield growth, they are keen to appoint a Cyber Security Officer, paying a salary range of £30,000 to £40,000 with a hybrid working model from, their Coventry offices.As a Cyber Security Officer, you will be accountable for developing policies and plans to mitigate cyber security risk and improve the cyber estate. In addition, you will monitor and report on compliance with applicable IT security regulatory requirements.Cyber Security Officer: Experience

  • Knowledge of Risk Management
  • Security standards: ISO27001, NIST, CIS, Cyber Essentials, Cloud Security
  • Knowledge of IT Security Principles
  • Cloud technology or software
  • Infrastructure: Desktop, Server, Network, Firewalls
Cyber Security Officer: Duties
  • Support with the definition of policies, processes and guidelines
  • Provide advice across IT and security controls
  • Communicate technical issues and risks to non-technical people
  • Support, develop and maintain information policy and procedures
  • Undertake risk assessments of systems based on agreed policies
  • Supporting the InfoSec Manager with ongoing ISO27001 compliance and reporting
