Fantastic opportunity to join a well-established engineering company in Coventry as a Customer Service Engineer! You must have 5 years relevant experience and have either completed an engineering apprenticeship or mechanical and engineering qualifications. Up to £40,000 DOEMonday to Friday: Monday - Thursday 8 - 4.30 Fridays 8.30 - 4 (Onsite)UK and overseas travel is required as and when Must be able to drive and own carMain Duties; o Promotion of machine tool performance & reliability, engineering competencies and customer service excellence.o Provide prompt engineering support to customer manufacturing operations relating to machine tool installation, product performance, operating & maintenance procedures on customer premises. o Provides timely accurate technical advice to customers (Help Desk).o Evaluate product/service performance in the field.o Provides technical inputs into development and evaluation of new products. o Feeds back intelligence relating to customer needs, product & service performance, competitor product performance and sales activity to management.o Ensure products conform to customer production & quality requirements.o Report safety hazards to management or take remedial action with your area of expertise to eliminate the risko Apply safety principles at times when conducting work, be responsible for appropriate use of personal protective and technical equipmentPerson Specification; o Excellent verbal and written communication skillso Strong IT Skills (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)o Able to meet deadlines plan and organise work priorities o Minimum of 5 years experience with Relevant trade or engineering qualifications for CNC machine servicing/support or Trade qualified electrical/electronics o Strong focus on customer serviceo Knowledge of CNC systems or Fanuc Robots and other CNC systems will be an advantageo Able to work on your own initiative o UK travel, overnight stays and overseas travel will be required in this role o Demonstrate flexible and positive attitudeIf interested in this role and you have relevant experience/qualifications, please click APPLY NOW.
