Job Description

Controls & Systems Development EngineerAutomotiveCompetitive Salary plus Excellent Benefits PackageJonathan Lee Recruitment is looking for aexperiencedControls & Systems Development Engineerto join our clients advanced technology team in the development of a suit of newEVVehicles working out of their Innovation Centre in Coventry.This is a permanent position with an attractive salary and benefits package, with excellent career progression.As aControls & Systems Development Engineer, you will be responsible for the controls and systems within the newvehicleprogrammes.The key duties for theControls & Systems Development Engineerwill be to:

  • Take responsibility for the integration, development and testing of E&E Systems in domains such asADAS,HVACand Body Systems
  • Work closely with cross functional engineering teams to capture requirements and development full E&E products/systems to meet functional demands
  • Support Systems Engineering through the complete V-Cycle, covering model based design and model-based systems engineering
  • Support Engineering sign off throughDVP, reporting onDVprogress through to test execution
  • Provide technicalassistanceand advice through each stage of development to meet customer deadlines and milestones
To apply for this engineering role, you will need to be aControls & Systems Development Engineerworking within a similar role, with the followingexperienceand skills:
  • Exposure of working within a technical speciality such asADAS,HVACand/or Body Electronics / Systems
  • Experience with data storage, data analysis, data protection, and data analysis
  • Algorithmdevelopment andtestingusing C/C++, Python,Stateflow, Matlab and/orSimulink
  • Knowledge of calibration tools such as INCA,CANapeCANalyzerand/orControlDesk
