Job Description

We have a great opportunity for a Commercial Manager to join us here at Graham Plumbers Merchants. You will be working directly for the SG Sales Director, supporting the SG team in partnership with the SG brands & business units (BUs) with the aim of maximizing profit and performance for SG across identified national customers and their regional business units. Were looking for someone who will help us develop and implement new tools to support commercial activity and overall SG business strategies, whilst continually reviewing and evolving existing approached. If you have experience in the builing or consruction industry and are looking for a new challenge, this could be the role for you!What youll be doing as a Commercial Manager at Graham:

  • Promote a behavioral safety first culture in which employees are risk aware and striving to achieve zero accidents, and ultimately creating a safe environment for themselves, customers and contractors
  • Promote our SG purpose at all times, internally & externally
  • Responsible for the delivery of commercial management projects in line with the SG strategy
  • Working in conjunction with the SG team in ensuring sales growth and profit targets are reached and exceeded
  • To produce and present recommendations for new opportunities, pricing, terms, commercial agreements
  • To constantly monitor and review existing pricing/commercial agreements alongside the SG brand commercial and pricing teams
  • Lead & support the SG team and wider teams with pricing, analysis, commercial agreements and external contract support
  • To identify trends and opportunities for the maximizing profitable business growth through the analysis of pricing data
  • Work as an integral part of the team to deliver the strategic plans across SG through commercial and pricing collaboration and support
  • Review and analyse new commercial agreements and produce recommendations
  • Ensure line manager is kept up to date and aware as necessary, and any issues are escalated as appropriate

  • Experienced within the industry and in Saint-Gobain
  • Experienced account management, customer sector knowledge and experience
  • Solution service and selling experience
  • Cross/multi brand experience.
  • Existing customer relationships
  • Team player, good communicator
