Job Description

Commercial Gas EngineerSalary / Package - Employed Position - £42k-£48k Basic Salary (40 Hour Week) + Company Van and Fuel provided + Overtime / Callout (strong overall earning potential) + Annual Holiday + Pension + Benefits.Location - Coventry area, or surrounding locations such as Birmingham and Leicester.Company Background:We are currently working with a leading and established specialist within the commercial & industrial heating industry and who are looking to recruit an additional Commercial Gas / Heating Engineer to join their team.Job Role:

  • As a mobile commercial gas engineer, youll be responsible for breakdown, service and maintenance works across a range of commercial and industrial contracts, which include working in Hospitals, Schools, Football Stadiums and a whole host of commercialand industrial buildings.
  • Responsible for fault finding and repairs on boilers, mechanical and water heaters in a range of commercial plant rooms.
  • Responsible for working as a mobile/field based engineer and covering sites in Coventry, Birmingham and Leicester.
Skills and Experience Required:
  • Background as a Gas Engineer within commercial gas, industrial gas or combustion.
  • Relevant acs certs such as; COCN1 Or CODNCO1 Changeover, ICPN1, CIGA1, CDGA1, CORT1, TPCP1a.
  • Good burner experience and overall commercial heating and boiler background required.
  • Multi-skilled experience also desired but not essential, such as experience with Heat Pumps, BMS, Air Heaters, AHUs etc.
  • You must also hold domestic acs gas certificates, as there are some domestic boilers but purely working in commercial settings.
