Job Description

We have a number of exciting opportunities that have arisen for Class 2 drivers to join a Prestigious National company based in the Coventry area.As a Class 2 Driver your duties will include:

  • Being responsible for the efficient transportation and delivery of products.
  • Driving vehicles to customers’ premises and other depots
  • Drops and collections/multi drop
  • Helping to load / unload the vehicle where required.
  • Ensuring loads are secured effectively.
  • Liaising with customers and representing the company in a professional manner.
    • An ideal Class 2 Driver will hold the following skills and experiences:
  • Have a valid Class 2 licence with CPC and digi card
  • Must meet DNI criteria - Had licence for 2 years and completed 180 days’ work within this period.
  • Maximum of 6 points on license, for insurance purposes.
  • Knowledge of the geographical area
  • The ability to follow work procedure and safety rules
  • The ability to read, understand and follow directions/instructions.
  • Experience of collections/deliveries/multidrop
    • The working hours are Monday to Friday - static earlies/daysThe company have opportunities for both temporary to permanent drivers and ongoing temporary drivers.In return you will receive a salary of up to £13.00 per hour. Overtime is available at time and one half, after 9 hours, Monday to Friday. Required skills
