A major Housing Association based in Coventry are looking for a Carpenter to join their reactive repairs department for a period of at least 9 months.This is a full time contract position for 37 hours per week and you must be available to start on the 15th February 2021. The duties of the role are as below:* Ease and overhaul doors and windows* Replacing internal and external doors* Replace and fit new door and window locks on both timber and UPVC* Repair and replace kitchen doors, drawers and worktops* General repairs to internal joinery (Architrave, skirting etc)* Fascia and barge board repair/ replacement* Guttering and downpipes* Fencing and gate repairs* Remove and refit, bath panels, boxing, ducts* Neat application of sealant products* Able to use a PDA to receive and complete jobs* Manage a van material stock* Work in a pro-active manner* Work with the customer and planner to get the job done* Liaise with the Supervisor from site with technical issues* Comply with Health & Safety PolicyThe ideal candidate will have previous experience in social housing and you must have at least an NVQ Level 2 or equivalent along with a full UK Driving licence.If you are interested in this role, please ask for Paul Armson on or email your CV to
