Job Description

Are you looking for a new role as a Caretaker in a Secondary School in CoventryAre you happy to get hands on in a busy, engaging environmentThen this could be the role for you!One of our Secondary Schools we are recruiting for is a welcoming and inclusive mixed secondary school in Coventry for pupils aged between 11 and 18. The school boasts excellent facilities in a well-kept stimulating environment.This is an exciting new role within the SITES & Facilities team providing the successful candidate with a varied role across the school.This Secondary School is seeking to appoint a Facilities Assistant/Caretaker to:

  • The Facilities Assistant is a member of the Facilities Team undertaking duties as required to meet the needs of the school and the team.
  • Supervising the set-up/teardown of informal recreation activities, reservations and events,
  • Complete facility walkthroughs as well as complete headcounts, door checks and space walkthroughs to support the Facility Manager on duty,
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of and monitor proper equipment use
  • To provide a safe and secure environment that underpins high quality education for all.
