This role can be based from any of our locations in Coventry, London or Scarborough.This is an exciting opportunity to join Coventry University Group as we continue our sustained expansion of apprenticeships. If you have strong communication, relationship building and organisational skills, and would value being part of a supportive andambitious team while you build a career in bid management, then this could be the role for you.The GroupCoventry University Group has achieved sustained growth in apprenticeships over the past 5 years, with around 3000 learners now undertaking one of over forty apprenticeship programmes. The opportunities within the apprenticeship space are immense, and akey ambition in the Groups 2030 strategy is to increase the apprenticeship portfolio.From September 2022 a sister company, CU Apprenticeships (Better Futures) Limited, was launched to provide focus and innovative approaches to expand the delivery of apprenticeships on behalf of the University Group. The CU Apprenticeships team (now around40 colleagues) are responsible for managing, administering, and developing apprenticeship provision across the entire University Group, driving quality and growth.The RoleThis new role of Bid Manager is being introduced to focus on the end-to-end management of the tender response process, including opportunity scanning, tender response project management and tender writing. As Bid Manager you will be pivotal in enabling thepredicted growth of delivery in this area as public sector tenders are likely to form a major part in the accelerated size of the portfolio.This role will initially be campus based during the induction period, and this could be from any of our UK campuss (currently sited in Coventry, London, and Scarborough - please note your preference in your application) and the working hours are 37.5 perweek, Monday to Friday. This role is eligible for our Agile Working policy once inducted and embedded in the role. Due to the nature of this role, the flexibility to travel occasionally between our campuses will be required.Our Successful CandidateWe are seeking someone with:
