Job Description

We are currently working with a company that designs and manufacture furniture and joinery for a large number of clients nationally.The work is varied and for a variety of sectors including education, healthcare and offices to name a few.Due to growth, the company are now looking for Bench Joiners as part of their team of skilled craftspeople.Responsibilities:

  • You will be responsible for manufacturing, assembling and finishing bespoke joinery to a high standard.
  • You should be able to work with technical drawings issued by the in-house design team
  • You must be comfortable working with various materials to include solid wood, veneers, solid surface and laminate.
  • An extensive knowledge of materials, methods, techniques and knowledge of production machinery is required
About You:
  • You must have a background in Carpentry & Joinery
  • You must be comfortable using a variety of tools
  • You will also have the ability to read and interpret drawings
You should also:
  • Be familiar with working in production environments
  • Have strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Comfortable helping out in other areas of the factory when required
  • The candidate must live local
