Behaviour Specialist Teaching AssistantPay: £85-£100 per dayHours: 8.30-3.30 Mon-Fri (Term time only)About the roleThe role will be based in the inclusion unit of the school. This is based outside of the classroom and is a dynamic position that requires the ability to respond to daily situations that arise. (This could be anything student related; from poor attendance,behaviour issues, anxiety, bullying or stress) Wellbeing and welfare of the students will be your priority ensuring that they are best prepared for their classroom learning. The school believes that the academic and pastoral sides of a students learning gotogether and a student cannot succeed unless they feel supported in both areas.About youThe school are looking for a dynamic and motivated candidate with a passion for supporting the welfare and wellbeing of pupils. Experience isnt necessary but enthusiasm is a must. The job can be equally rewarding and give you a real sense of purpose. Adesire to support pupils to make the most of their time in school, will see you play many roles, from motivational speaker to agony aunt. Being a good listener is a vital quality in this role.Previous successful applicants have come from a variety of different backgrounds - not just from schools!
