The diverse team is made up of friendly, hardworking individuals who value the importanceof maintaining a healthy work/life balance including a hybrid working model and 9 day fortnight.Belief in fostering talent from within, this employee-owned practice offers vast opportunities for career progression with endless possibilities for personal and professional development.The Role:As an Assistant Insolvency Manager in your new role, you will be responsible for a blend of formal insolvency and advisory tasks aimed at assisting distressed businesses through restructuring and insolvency processes. This role provides exposure to a widerange of industries and offers an opportunity to develop your people management and client-facing skills.Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Reporting directly to the appointment taking IP.
  • Responsible for co-managing the insolvency team and their workloads.
  • Delegate and review work across a portfolio of insolvency cases in compliance with the firms standard procedures and relevant regulations.
  • Communicating any issues related to compliance or contentious matters to the IP.
  • Ensuring financial management of the cases you oversee.
  • Collaborating with creditors, directors, and referral partners throughout the life of case, consistently delivering excellent client service and communication.
  • Assist with the firms networking events.
Requirements:
  • To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:
  • An experienced background in insolvency.
  • Exceptional track record in insolvency work; a JIEB/CPI qualification is desirable but not essential.
  • Previous management experience in a similar role.
  • Good commercial acumen and an ability to identifying opportunities for the firm.
  • A team player with a supportive and friendly demeanour.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a professional and emphatic personality.
