AdministratorCoventry City Centre08.30-17.00 (1 hour lunch)12 months12.74 per hourthefutureworks are currently supporting Coventry University Registry to recruit for a Administrator to support the busy team.Main Duties and ResponsibilitiesBecomes an expert on specific University procedures and regulations, briefing other staff as required. Advises the Assistant Faculty Registrar, Registry Course Officer or Faculty Registrar, on any failure to comply with University procedures or regulationsDeals accurately and efficiently with enquiries from staff, students and external organisations, and liaises regularly with other University and Faculty staff over matters concerning student and course support.Provides administrative support for the development of, and changes to, courses and modules, from inception through the approval process, ensuring that the Faculty Registrar is kept informed of such developments.Carries out accurate and secure maintenance and operation of manual and computerised student record systems, including undertaking data inputting. Supports the development and implementation of new systems, including the application of computer software toenhance administrative processes, and ensure accuracy and integrity of data.Assists with the management of the examination and coursework moderation process. Ensures that assessments are produced securely and completed in accordance with the Registry timetable and at a level of quality that meets University standards and external andinternal moderation requirements.Liaises effectively with other departments within the University, including Academic Registry, Finance, International Office, RAO etc.Practical experience of working in a busy office environmentThe ideal candidate attributesAbility to communicate effectively, orally and in written form at all levels.
