Job Description

Are you looking for an exciting new client focused role with a leading automotive business If the answer is YES, they want to hear from you.They are currently looking to recruit a Project Lead / Account Manager to join the team at their Jaguar Land Rover site in Whitley, Coventry.What will I be responsible forThe Project Lead / Account Manager will work successfully and closely with JLR management to drive new and ongoing projects they provide. The projects include advising or managing the delivery of teams working directly with end-customers using a variety of channels, teams of analysts and several subject matter experts across various business areas. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Discussing business and project requirements with Clients
  • Business case and proposal writing
  • Management of staff including coaching, performance management, motivation and development
  • Consulting with business owners to find creative solutions to team, business and customer requirements
  • Monitoring project budgets and expenditure
  • Maintaining data to support forecasting and invoicing and creating project documentation
  • Reviewing project schedules with Client management
  • Developing communication schedule to update stakeholders
  • Monitoring the progress of the projects and making adjustments as necessary
  • Running governance meetings, developing the materials to be discussed
  • Recruitment including writing job specifications, reviewing applications and interviewing
  • Arranging and leading regular and ad-hoc meetings with Clients and staff
  • Assisting with change projects following the launch of new programmes, change in business owners, growth or reduction in team size
  • Development and/or management of new processes in order to drive performance and compliance
  • Running pilots for understanding project needs and lessons learned
  • Who are they looking forAs their Project Lead / Account Manager, you will be a strong communicator with good networking skills and able to build strong relationships with a diverse group of people. You will have Project Management skills and experience with the ability to work on your own initiative as well as within a team environment.You will also possess:
  • Excellent customer service skills are essential
  • Highly organised and structured
  • Have an attention to detail, but also see the Bigger Picture
  • Ability to manipulate, analyse and present data to all levels of staff and management
  • Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel) skills are essential
