Job Description

Where possible, we are open to offering and supporting flexible working, among other initiatives to ensure that we develop a safe and inclusive workplace.WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING As our Product Manager, youll be responsible for executing CityFibres on-net and off-net product strategy, covering a range of data products including FTTC, FTTP and Ethernet. The key goal of this role will be to ensure the product strategy, roadmap and proposition maximises achievement of CityFibres business plan.Youll also be;

  • Managing (end-end) the portfolio through the Product Lifecycle from new product development and in life management through to retirement of legacy products
  • Defining and executing the product roadmap, ensuring buy-in from stakeholders across the business
  • Identifying new products or range extensions based on customer satisfaction and financial performance metrics and driving them through the lifecycle
  • Clearly articulating product requirements that fully meet our customer requirements
  • Working closely with account, service and development teams to resolve product issues
  • Engaging with key external stakeholders (such as Ofcom, Openreach and other bodies as required)
  • Undertaking pricing reviews and updating pricing in line with market movements and profitability goals
  • Contributing to supplier review meetings to hold them accountable for delivery and compelling commercials
  • Staying up to date with industry competitors and competitor product developments
  • Tracking and managing key performance metrics (e.g. volumes, MRRs) along with preparation of monthly product reports
  • Attending industry forums and disseminating key information from them
  • Supporting product marketing to create marketing material and partner updates on industry developments
  • WHAT WILL YOU BRING Youll need a strong background in product management and demonstrable success in defining, launching and retiring products, ideally within a B2B wholesale telecoms environment. Its also important that you have;
  • Detailed knowledge of data connectivity products such as Ethernet and Business FTTP. We dont expect you to be a network engineer, but you will be working with them!
  • Good understanding of emerging trends across the B2B telecoms market
  • Strong understanding of the UK Wholesale and Partner Channel
  • Experience of working with developers who use agile software development and Kanban
  • User knowledge of Salesforce, JIRA and Trello a plus
  • Knowledge of FTTC, FTTP and Ethernet
