OverviewCombined Shipping Company Ltd is a Freight Forwarding, Warehousing, UK Distribution and online retail of Hot Tubs, Swim Spas and Pool Tables, established in 2004. The largest component to our business is the hot tub retail side, with 20,000 spas per year total UK market, we sell 1500-3000 spas per year which is around 8% of the total market share. The company is fast growing and going from strength to strength, developing and offering new innovative products to the range.The RoleThis role will give the selected individual and exciting career opportunity not only to expand the business further, but also develop their own career. We are seeking either a Senior Finance Manager or Finance Director that is dynamic and commercially minded who enjoys working in a fast pasted environment and has a passion for success. The position is an important role for the Company and rewards will be based on performance. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills, good strategic thinking, excellent communications skills, exceptional numerical proficiency, and strong leadership skills.Responsibilities

General Accounting.

Directing financial planning and strategy.

Analysing and reporting on financial performance.

Developing and implementing accounting policies.

Preparing forecasts and comprehensive budgets.

Processing company’s payroll every pay period.

Carry out all necessary actions to ensure that the company meets all its legal obligations.

Requirements

Extensive senior level of accountancy experience.

Significant managerial experience.

Excellent social skills.

Proficiency in accounting software, namely QuickBooks.

Ideally, some knowledge of the industry.

Other information Based Broughton Astley, Leicester.Hours vary dependant on requirements.Salary is negotiable and dependent on experience.Bonus is performance and discretionary based on 1% of company’s profits. Required skills
