Job Description

Overall purpose of the job:We are currently recruiting for a Technical Consultant with extensive experience at 3rd Line. The role holder will be expected to blend strong technical and service delivery knowledge and experience to achieve successful outcomes.Key responsibilities for this job:

  • Responsible technical ownership for all supported systems and infrastructure
  • Provide technical input and design for the technical solutions and services delivered by Vysiion
  • Review and maintain the current technical capability of the engineers and help provide a personal and team development plan to increase the skills and knowledge of networks and the services supported
  • Continue to review and recommend service improvements to the supported services through identifying areas around performance, stability, and tuning
  • Provide technical ownership for all Problem and Capacity Management activities related to the services and solutions
  • Drive knowledge and ownership standards to help manage and administer technical events on the services within the team
  • Manage the technical ownership for all Change Management activities
  • Provide technical escalation for all services
  • Manage, maintain and measure the success of the Knowledge Management process and provide verified and up to date articles, guides and video content as well workshops
  • Ensure compliance to all Cyber Security standards, managing and reviewing all security events, working with the Cyber team
  • Participate in the technical transition of projects into Service of information and operational support systems
  • Contribute to the continual service improvement of the service quality and performance through making recommendations and delivery of any allocated tasks
Knowledge and experience required:
  • Extensive hands on technical experience in multi-vendor virtualised IT infrastructure
  • Sound networking knowledge
  • Extensive experience at 3rd line
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Ability to listen and understand requirements and proactively communicate in a dynamic environment
