A top digital product specialist is looking to take on a talented PHP / Drupal Developer to add to their 20 strong development team. Playing a key role in the design and build of complex websites and apps whist working to best practice when it comes to softwareengineering. This is a rare and exciting opportunity to work for one of the best digital development businesses in the South-West at their fantastic countryside studio in West Wiltshire.What skills youll be needing
  • Extensive software engineering experience in modern object-orientedlanguages, PHP, and especially using, extending and maintaining Drupal based websites (7/8/9).
  • Experience of working with MVC frameworks.
  • Experience integrating Drupal based websites with other systems API and data feeds.
  • Understanding of Service Oriented Architectures, integration patterns and RESTful web services.
  • Database Development experience, such as using MySQL including schema design, performance analysis and tuning.
  • Experience of API integration.
  • Experience of supporting and extending systems and code developed by teams other than your own.
  • Experience in Version control systems (Subversion, Git).

They will look to you to help them create amazing, complex and mission critical digital products for some of the worlds mostrecognisable brands. You will encourage and drive best practise Test/BDD principles along with best practice software engineering standards. Although not in a formal capacity, it would be great if you could share your knowledge and experience with juniordevelopers.
