Learning, Development and Culture PartnerAbout usThe Pharmaxo group operates within the pharmaceutical aseptic compounding, clinical homecare and laboratory services sectors. Through our scientific research and technology capabilities, the team continues to develop innovative methods to improve our productsand services. We are located in a new, multimillion pound manufacturing and office facility in Corsham Science Park in Wiltshire, just 5 miles from Chippenham and 8 miles from Bath. The Pharmaxo Group comprises of:Bath ASU produces around 2,000 aseptically compounded injectable pharmaceutical products each day for hospitals and patients across the UK who are fighting cancer, living with chronic disease or in need of pain relief.Pharmaxo Healthcare is a growing clinical homecare provider in an expanding market offering greater convenience to patients whilst delivering efficiencies to the NHS.Pharmaxo Scientific holds and develops intellectual property, which is currently licensed to the groups other operating subsidiaries.About youWe are excited to announce that we are looking to recruit a Learning, Development and Culture Partner to join our dynamic team.Are you passionate about supporting people to be the best that they can be Do you strive to find the best solutions to challenging problems Are you an experienced Learning and Development professional who is looking for their next challenge, where youcan own the learning, development and culture agenda across a group of companiesIf this is you, and you have the skills and knowledge as described in the job description, then we would like to hear from you.You will be responsible for:As Learning, Development and Culture Partner for Pharmaxo you will support the development and deliver the learning, development and culture agenda for Pharmaxo, alongside the business units, and in line with the People Priorities. This requires effectiveconnection between investment, staff development, culture development and the delivery of the best organisational outcomes.The role will include:

  • Operationally leading the approach to delivering apprenticeships, in accordance with the apprenticeship levy.
  • Championing and embedding learning as a culture, ensuring effective business as personal performance.
  • Ensure all learning, development and culture programs support the delivery of values-based, inclusive approaches to make best use of the talents of all our staff.
  • Supporting the wider People team to design, facilitate and deliver core people skills training and specialist development, including coaching, leadership development, mentoring, 360-feedback and creates learning networks in partnership with the People Partners.
  • Support the development and delivery of the OD programme, utilising Clarity 4D.
  • Develop programmes of work which will further benefit and enhance the employee culture within Pharmaxo, which celebrate and bring to life our values.
What youll be doing:
  • Lead the delivery of key learning and development interventions aligned to the People Priorities; monitors performance ensuring on-going "fit" with changing needs.
  • To operationally lead the implementation of the apprenticeship strategy, engaging with department leads across the organisation to deliver high quality apprenticeship programmes to a range of staff. Ensuring assurance regarding apprenticeship forecastingand spend.
  • Building effective working relationships with local education providers to encourage collaboration.
  • To develop and embed systematic training needs analysis so learning and development links with appraisal outcomes, evaluation, business plans and core HR functions.
  • To lead on the development and implementation of a LMS within Pharmaxo, engaging stakeholders from across the business to develop the training matrix, requirements and content.
  • Working alongside the People Partner team, lead on the development of the in-house management training program, which will encompass the ongoing development of current managers/leaders and aim to provide the skills and tools for the future Pharmaxo leaders.
  • To ensure effective working relationships and act as a positive ambassador with external stakeholders, ensuring that you engage and maintain your own professional networks.
  • Ensure systematic evaluation of learning and development and quality assurance to demonstrate benefits, amend activities and share good practice, using robust metrics and evidence-base that informs the learning cycle and reflective practice.
  • To keep abreast of best practice, undertaking research and supporting scholarly activity such as writing papers, facilitating conferences and multi-professional learning events.
  • Lead on the ongoing development of the Pharmaxo values, developing and reviewing behavioural frameworks, which lead to the development of an open, learning and inclusive culture.
  • To contribute to the development of underpinning plans to support the People Priorities and lead on implementation within areas of responsibility.
  • To work alongside the wider People Partner team and functions to share knowledge and best practice.
