Job Description

Interim Security Assurance Co-ordinator P/T - Remote WorkingPay Rate: Up to £547 per day pay range subject to IR35 statusThis is a Part-time role 2 to 3 days per week. Days and Hours TBCKey Accountabilities:

  • To manage, oversee, monitor and report on the Cyber Security & Resilience Failure risk including metrics tracking and monitoring security incidents
  • Provide cyber, information and crypto security policy direction
  • Define enterprise and solution security architecture and act as crypto design authority to provide long term sustainable security solutions and guardrails for the future
  • Provide cyber, information and crypto specialist control requirements to comply with policy within risk appetite
  • Accredit and assure compliance with security policy and key control requirements
  • Define Defence wide defensive cyber strategy and work to define a long term investment profile
  • Provide security programme direction over the cyber programme portfolio
  • Deliver centralised risk mitigation services, in relation to security awareness and supplier chain cyber security
  • Provide defensive cyber direction
  • Manage, oversee and report on IT operational risks
    • Key Requirements:
  • Data protection
  • Experience of the accreditation process
  • At least one relevant postgraduate, professional or vocational information security qualification.
  • Experience in risk management methodologies
    • Desirable Requirements:
  • CCP Senior Professional certification (SIRA and IA Accreditor roles preferred.)
  • Data Protection Qualification (BCS Professional Certification, IAPP, CDPSE etc.)
  • Recent experience in Defence Digital or similar organisation
