No doubt the work you will do will make impacts on the UK most critical projects.This role will be pivotal in building trust and creating safe environment where problems can be raised, collaboratively resolved with an emphasis on continuous improvement.The skills we are seeking

  • Responsibility for managing all Major Incidents throughout their lifecycle & coordinating the required resolver groups to ensure a successful resolution along with providing regular and relevant updates to all stakeholders.
  • Setting up and leading conference call or bridge communication between all involved parties in resolution in line with defined timescales
  • Manage fix to SLAs and flag when SLAs are in danger of being breached
  • Work with 2nd and3rd line support to quickly identify MIs and agree resolution activities ensuring senior management are kept up to date with the issues and resolution and escalate as necessary to get timely resolution.
  • Implement robust Major Incident management procedures and communications channels & identify issues and risks associated with the current process, and present solutions.
  • Develop initiatives to provide a continuous improvement process and cost optimisation.
  • Review all Major Incidents and produce Major incident reports and improvement plans, organise and chair appropriate MI review meetings & ensure that all reports are issued to agreed timescales.
  • Drive resolution of actions raised in MI reviews
  • Co-ordinate, owning where relevant, follow up actions and support of wider Problem Management process across Telecoms.
