I am looking for a Finance Manager to join a leading Public Sector Organisation based in Corsham.This is a fixed term contractContract Length: 31/07/2021Location: Corsham - Aldermaston (SE Reading Aldermaston) - 2-3 days a week, need to be able to come in.IR35: In ScopePay Rate to Candidate: £433 UmbrellaSecurity Clearance: DVMinimum requirements:A finance manager is required to support the existing financial management team in financial analysis and management of the nuclear warhead programmes costs and its contractor arrangements.The finance manager is required to be experienced in liaising with relevant teams on specific financial issues; establishing financial management requirements and organising, planning and transforming financial reporting and planning systems, processes and financial management work to meet deadlines, and providing financial support to projects and programmes.The finance manager is required to be a qualified accountant and have experience in finance function and system transformation and efficiency.The post holder will assess projects and programme performance on a monthly basis and assess the delivery against plan. Identifying any risks, issues and opportunities to highlight to MOD with associated recommendations for action.Job DescriptionMain Duties and Responsibilities: Manage the delegated budget; Ensure compliance with finance and procurement policies; Provide procurement advice; Manage finances, assets and payroll reconciliation; Identify and gain agreement for measures to deliver budget efficiencies through either cost-savings, re-allocation of financial resources or external sourcing of services; Ensure regular review of expenditure take place; Assist and support budget holders to scrutinise their own budgets; Production of monthly, quarterly and annual financial accounts, forecasts and budgets as required.
