Print Estimator / Production ManagerHalesowen, B62 8BHJPL Print and Design are a leading print company within Halesowen. We work across both Litho and Large Format printing to offer our customers the broadest range of print possible.JPL are looking for an enthusiastic and proactive estimator/production manager to join their team. This role will be based in ourmodern offices in Halesowen. Print is a fast-paced industry, and the ability to work with swift turnarounds is essential. Thereare also great progression opportunities.Location: HalesowenHours: MonFri (8 am5 pm)Wage: £25,000-£30,000Main Duties

• Pricing of Digital Print, Large Format Print, Litho Print, Print Finishing, and Instillations.
• Creation of job estimates for new products
• Ensuring the quote provides quality and value for money to the client whilst remaining commercially viable for the company.
• Handling of all incoming orders within 24 hours.
• Scheduling print jobs to optimise resources.
• Raise and monitor the progress of outsourced print and finishing work
• Liaising with the in-house design team, customer service and sales department.
• Liaising with suppliers to source appropriate materials, quotes, turnarounds etc.
• Working closely with our Accounts team to provide structure and guidance at the early quoting stages and beyond.
• Review pricing regularly
• Problem-solving to bring a project into spec, turnaround and on budget.
• Associated admin work.

• Excellent level of print estimating experience (Ideally Tharstens / Clarity)
• Experience in production management
• Buying experience for digital, litho, large format and finishing
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Sound knowledge of commercial print process
• Must be computer literate, including Microsoft Office, Word and Excel
