Job Description

Mach Recruitment are currently searching for FLT Operatives for permanent contract for one of our clients in Consett.The main purpose of this role is to ensure that all materials held in the warehouse at any given time, at any given stage of production are held in the appropriate manner suited to the products category, stage of process and storage instructions.Duties and responsibilities:

  • To ensure that the highest standards of hygiene and housekeeping are maintained in all areas - operating a clean as you go mentality
  • Ensure safe operation of FLT and Counterbalance when in use.
  • Deliver a performance to ensure that company minimum standards are met and exceeded.
  • Ensure production replenishment of materials are met through accurate interpretation of order picking activities
  • Accurately record all information onto the WMS system "INFOR"
  • Using correct MHE, assist in the safe tipping of deliveries
  • Using the correct MHE stow products to the correct location and scan to ensure information logged correctly onto the WMS
  • Use of Hand Wrap where applicable
  • To take an active role in continuously developing skills and knowledge through self-development activities and/or through attending Company organised training and development opportunities.
  • To respond to ad hoc requests and/or take an active role in specific projects as directed by the job-holders line manager.
  • To undertake any other reasonable duties as may from time to time be required by the Company.
Applicants should:
  • Have reach and counterbalance licences
  • Have previous experience of working within a similar role
  • Fully understand relevant H&S issues around the position available
  • Have good communication skills
Shifts:- Monday - Thursday- Tuesday - FridayHours: 06:00am - 18:00pm/18:00pm - 06:00am (rotational)Pay rate: £12.50 per hourOvertime pay rate: Monday - x1.5, Saturday and Sunday - x2Mach Recruitment is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.
