Trainee / Junior Engineer (Hands-on / Maintenance)£34,000 + Overtime (OTE 39k) + Training + 31 Days HolidayConsett, County DurhamAre you an Apprentice Trained Mechanical or Electrical Engineer looking for a maintenance role in a long-standing and reputable company, where you will be given an abundance of on-the-job training and put through internal and external training courses to developinto a skilled Maintenance EngineerOn offer is a great opportunity to progress your career in a company that values you, where you will be working a double-days role in a busy manufacturing environment.In this role you will be involved with the preventative and reactive maintenance of food production machinery and equipment across the site. There will be plenty of training and development opportunities to progress your skillset.This company were established nearly 50 years ago and have nearly 300 employees, making them a market leader in the UK within their speciality. They supply into almost every supermarket and have plans to move to a brand-new, top of the line factory very soon.This role would suit a time served Engineer from a mechanical or electrical background looking to further their career through tailored training in a company that will invest in them.The Role:

  • Planned and reactive maintenance on machinery and equipment
  • Working on food production machinery either mechanically or electrically
  • Ongoing training through shadowing experienced engineers and training courses
  • Monday to Friday, 6am - 2pm, then 2pm - 10pm, rotating weekly
The Person:
  • Apprentice trained Engineer
  • Mechanical or Electrical background
  • Looking to become a Maintenance Engineer
