Job Description

Our Client based in Consett, County Durham are market leaders in the production of metal components for the aerospace industry. Due to exceptional business demand, they currently have an excellent opportunity for a Paint Sprayer to join their business ona permanent basis.This successful Paint Sprayer will be required to work a continental shift pattern and will be offered a highly competitive package including a salary of £35k - £40k.Duties for the Paint Sprayer Role:

  • Ensure all paint materials are mixed correctly for colour and consistency and recorded for
  • Prepare pre-treated aluminium
  • Apply primer / topcoats to work instruction sheets
  • Setting up spray paint equipment
  • Prepare surfaces to be covered
  • Quality check all finished jobs
  • Clean and maintain all spray paint equipment, spray booths and associated equipment.
The Ideal Paint Sprayer Candidate Will:
  • Be Computer literate
  • Have previous Spray painter experience
  • Produce quality finish to painted components
  • Have excellent attention to detail
  • Able to apply good practical skills and follow written instructions
  • Ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team
  • Able to work safely in line with company safety standards
  • Excellent hand-to-eye coordination
