Job Description

I am currently recruiting for a Retail Sales Assistant to work at my client a leading Foreign Exchange provider based in the DH8 postcode of Consett.The hours of work are 16per week and this is ideal from someone who is flexible between the opening hours (Monday to Friday 9am7pm, Saturday 9am6pm and Sunday 10:30am4pm)

  • Your role will be to provide a leading customer experience to a variety of customers who are looking for currency.
  • You will be building relationships and getting to know the customer to ensure the experience is tailored to their destination.
  • You will be providing advice and guidance on products and services available to the customer
To be successful in this role you will:
  • Have a proven background in providing excellent customer service in a face to face environment
  • Have excellent attention to detail and numeracy skills
  • Be confident in handling money
  • Be able to work as part of a team while also independently too
  • Be flexible in the hours you are available to work
  • Be able to pass a police and credit check before starting work
The hourly rate for this role is £10.75 and you will receive 22 days holiday as well as bank holidays (pro-ratad). You also have access to an employee discount platform and pension scheme.Please apply today for the chance of an immediate interview
