Job Description

Overview:One of the UKs largest manufactures is looking to appoint a Payroll Specialist to join their team.This is a full time, office-based role in Consett.The Role:The Payroll Specialist is responsible for accurately preparing both weekly and monthly payroll. In addition to HMRC reporting, you will handle all payroll reporting. You will be accountable for ensuring the T&A systems accuracy regarding the prompt andaccurate input of reasons to assure accurate payment for absences. It will be your responsibility to stay current on payroll legislation.Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain T&A system for absence reporting
  • Liaise with production managers and HR
  • Full responsibility for monthly and weekly payrolls
  • Payments and Deductions
  • Statutory payments
  • Attachments of earnings
  • Internal payroll reports
  • Pension reporting and payment
  • PAYE and NIC reconciliation
  • HMRC reporting
  • P60, P11d and P32
  • Payroll benefits process
  • SOX compliance reporting
Skills:
  • Strong organisational abilities
