Job Description

WHAT COMPANY YOU WILL BE WORKING FORWestray Recruitment Group is seeking an experienced Mechanical Fitter to work on a temp to permanent basis for our client based in Consett.WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING IN YOUR ROLETo be successful for this role you will have previous experience gained from carrying out a similar role within a manufacturing environment.Responsibilities for this role include:

  • Efficient disassembly/reassembly of Air Handing Units and Air Conditioning units including fitting of fans and all other components
  • Brazing coil headers, drilling coil headers, coil sub-assembly and brazing
  • Be responsible for Health, Safety & Environment and ensure control measures are in place
  • Support, lead, train, and mentor others (including apprentices)
    • WHAT EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS ARE REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION
  • Ability to read diagrams
  • Team Player
  • Ability to work on own initiative
  • Willing to multi skill
  • Ability to measure accurately
  • Basic knowledge of sheet metal parts
  • Proven track record of working with quality initiatives
    • WHAT ARE THE FINER DETAILS OF YOUR ROLEThis is day shift hours 7am-4pm Monday to Thursday and Friday 7am-12pm.
