Mechanical Draughtsman£40K- £50K per annum - Permanent RoleAdecco are delighted to be representing our client, a leading engineering business based in Consett. We are looking for candidates with experience of Mechanical Design Software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or PV Elite. This is a permanentjob opportunity.Skills and Responsibilities: Carry out engineering workload to meet order date requirements. Design equipment to meet statutory customer and project requirements, compiling a design dossier to allow for thew creation of manufacturing drawing. Ensuring all outputs are produced to the required quality levels as determined by the companys procedures, client orders and good industry practise. Carry out pressure vessel strength calculations as required. Checking of drawings and calculations as required. Generate, compile, and manage the production of manufacturing documentation as per the company standards and procedures. Carry out engineering activities in accordance with both designated external and company-based standards and include any special customer requirements. Carry out engineering activities to support product continuity. Maintain engineering records and product documentation. Carry out design work in accordance with customer specifications and in addition satisfy the commercial requirements of the company.
