The Company

MTrec are currently recruiting for a specialist firm based in the Consett area. These roles are for long term and will be offered a permanent position after a completion of a successful trial period.

The Role

Attend pre shift team briefings, highlighting issues and discussing targets
Overviewing various machinery, ensuring smooth running
Basic machine setting, placing items onto machine throughout the day
Cutting and grinding duties, basic hand tool experience
Manual handling and heavy lifting duties
Overviewing machinery, basic tool and setting changes
Hand assembly duties on items throughout the day, able to follow engineering diagrams
Support production lines, carry out production and assembly duties
Carry out visual quality inspection on items, checking product for any issues and faults
Manual handling throughout the day, collecting parts from stores
General housekeeping duties, keeping workspace clean and tidy

Excellent attitude and attendance required in order to gain a permanent contract
