Job Description

WHAT COMPANY YOU WILL BE WORKING FORWestray Recruitment Group is seeking an experienced Electrical Line Leader to work on a permanent basis for our client based in Consett.WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING IN YOUR ROLE

  • Managing / motivate / training a team
  • Decision makingMeet monthly targets
  • Maintain quality
  • Problem resolution
  • Supporting electrical component stock control
  • Installation process improvements working with controls department
    • Standard Wiring tasks
  • Pulling cables/Fitting glands, includes SY power cable
  • Fitting isolators c/w airtight seal through AHU skin using brass bush coupler & gland
  • Fitting ABB inverters
  • Termination of above with correct cable sheaths where needed and bootlace ferrules
  • Gland/terminate power cabling to motors
  • Pre tailing light fittings, install fittings in AHU with interconnection & switch where required
    • Controls Install Tasks
  • Following control panel diagrams with initial support from Controls department
  • Installation of control components eg temp sensors, diff pressure switches, damper actuators working with staff
  • Installation & termination (Inc. bootlace & cable numbers) of screened control cables to above equipment in accordance with panel drawings
  • Configuration of ABB inverters to facilitate fan run up & testing
  • End of line Dead test, point to point and control system pre-commissioning testing.
    • WHAT EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS ARE REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION
  • Installation of Building service Management Systems/Controls Wiring
  • Wiring of 3 phase motors/inverters
  • Inverter programming
  • Power & lighting
  • 18th Edition Electrical Installations [Preferable]
  • JIB Graded (preferable)
  • Logical and methodical approach to problem solving
  • Ability to use own initiative
  • Team player
