The Company

MTrec are currently recruiting for a specialist firm based in the Consett area. These roles are for long term and will be offered a permanent position after a completion of a successful trial period.

The Role

Attend pre shift team meetings, discuss workload and targets for the day ahead
Report any issues which may occur during shift back to team leaders
Working in a busy, fast paced warehouse environment
Quality checking and inspecting all products, checking for any issues and faults
Able to use hand and air tools, strong knowledge on the job
Hand assembly duties, assembling components together
MIG and TIG welding duties preferred
Able to read and understand engineering drawings, working from diagrams and verbal orders
Working alone and as part of a team, ensuring companies high standard is met
Based in the fabricating department, welding and fabrication experience needed
Strict health and safety protocols, ensured workspace is kept clean and safe
Operation on various tools, heavy lifting and manual handling duties
Able to work as part of a team and/or individually to meet company high standard
General housekeeping duties, ensure workspace is kept clean and safe at all times

Excellent attitude and attendance required in order to gain a permanent contract
