Fixed Term Contract (6 months) - Accountant - Cambridgeshire - £35,000-£40,000 per annumAn urgent requirement has arisen with a leading local employer, based in Comberton (West Cambridge) for a competent and capable Accountant to join the existing finance function, assisting the Finance Manager for a period of 6 months.This role will include the following:- Month end journals- Standard journals- Accruals- Prepayments- Monitoringof miss-postingsin the General Ledger- Balance Sheet reconciliations- Help with monthly reporting and cost value reconciliation- Abortive cost review- Assist Finance Manager in creating new month end internal P&L and BS review- Raise intercompany invoicesThis client is seeking a confident and flexible individual with experience of the above, able to start within the next couple of weeks, and who has a solid understanding of accounting processes and procedures. It is vital that you are capable of carrying out the above duties with little training.This client will consider those with and without formal accounting qualifications, experience, understanding and a flexible attitude are more important.You will also possess strong Excel skills and the ability to work to deadlines and as part of a small team.Please apply now for more information.
