Job Description

Veterinary Surgeon role at a Small Independent Practice in Colyton paying up to £85,000Branch Location: ColytonNumber of Vacancies: 1Shift Pattern: Full-time, 4 days a week, No nights, 1 in 4 WeekendsSalary: Up to £85,000Background on the Company: The fully independent small animal practice in Colyton is currently seeking a dedicated Veterinary Surgeon to join its team. Committed to providing high-quality veterinary care, the practice fosters a supportive and collaborativeenvironment.Benefits Offered:

Minimum Experience: The ideal candidate should have at least 1 year of clinical experience, preferably more. The practice welcomes applications from both experienced professionals and those looking to advance their career.Specialist Skills:

Responsibilities:The Veterinary Surgeons responsibilities at the practice include:
  • Conducting clinical consultations and examinations
  • Performing surgical procedures and utilizing specialist skills in ultrasound, x-rays, and laparoscopy equipment
  • Collaborating with the veterinary team to ensure the highest standards of patient care
  • Providing advice and guidance to clients on pet health and welfare
  • Participating in the weekend rota (1 in 4 weekends) and maintaining a supportive presence within the team
  • Keeping up-to-date with industry advancements through continuous professional development
  • Contributing to the positive and collaborative culture of the practice
