The doctors, nurses and practice team rely heavily on the quality of the clinical records to provide safe and high quality care to our patients. New roles within our summarising team have been developed to strengthen this support, ensuring that records contain comprehensive, up to date and accurate patient information.We are looking for three clinical note summariser/coders, each working 20 hours per week Monday to Friday, with the key skills to compile a thorough and chronological medical summary from new patient records, identify and enter key information from clinical correspondence into the Emis Web clinical system in accordance with the Practice note summarising and clinical coding protocol.The successful candidate will ideally have a knowledge of medical terminology and clinical systems but training will be given.
