The Branch Manager must match the companies ambition along with exceptional customer service skills and strong sales drive.If you are an experienced Branch Manager looking for a new challenge or Assistant Branch Manager looking to step up please apply now!What will I be doingAs Branch / Depot Manager you will have complete responsibility for the day to day management of a branch. We are looking for a strong all rounder with a good sales drive. Also to be able to come with some local contacts in the industry would be of benefitand a good knowledge of the local area.Primary responsibilities are driving the growth of the business, staff development and coaching and ensuring that health and safety is adhered to at all times. You will be commercially astute with a proven ability to influence staff members and drive sales.Working closely with your Assistant Branch Manager and Directors, as Branch Manager your role is to continually improve the profitable sales and margins within the branch, as well as developing a highly customer focused, results driven team.What skills do I need

Proven experience of management within the merchant sector
Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills
Ability to communicate confidently at all levels
Strong knowledge of building materials
Successful track record of management within the construction supply sector
